Hello and a very warm welcome to Xtra Rare Music from me, Simon Cooper. I'm a composer, music producer and songwriter and have been working freelance professionally since 1996. Based in the UK, my music covers a wide range of styles and genres from chill-out, pop, dance and electronica to world beat, soundtrack and relaxation music. Xtra Rare Music is the home of my solo material as well as my chill-out projects GXR and Groovecatcher.

As of 2010 I currently have 15 album releases and appearances on over 150 compilation albums worldwide, I also produce music for licensing to any projects which require the highest quality of both composition and production. Some of the labels I've had the pleasure of working with include Sony BMG, Legacy Recordings, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Universal, Clubstar, Zyx Music, BasicLUX, New World Records, Oreade Music etc.
